Then reenter the password and click <strong>OK<\/strong> to confirm.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"284\" height=\"178\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1096\" src=\"https:\/\/www.isumsoft.com\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/password-to-modify.jpg\" alt=\"Enter password to modify\"><\/p>\n<p>Step 5: When you are back to the<strong> Save As<\/strong> dialog, click <strong>Save<\/strong> to save this workbook.<\/p>\n<p>Step 6: Don&#8217;t tell others the password to modify. Then others only can open this Excel workbook in a read-only state. If they make changes, changes won&#8217;t be saved.
