To do a system restore on a computer that won\u2019t boot, you need to access the Advanced Boot Options<\/a> screen (sometimes referred to as the recovery environment). So, the preparation you need to do is to know how to make a computer that won\u2019t be able to start Windows 10 system enter the Advanced Startup Options screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Windows 10 automatically creates a system restore point<\/a> before major events like Windows update or driver installation. This gives you the opportunity to restore the computer that doesn\u2019t boot to a previous point in time. Follow these steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step 1: Boot the computer to Advanced Startup Options, and then choose Troubleshoot<\/strong> > System Restore<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
