2 Options to Remove Apps from Your iPhone/iPad

If you update to iOS 10, you can remove some built-in Apple apps from the Home screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. You can also delete unwantes apps to free up space in Settings. This tutorial will show you how to delete apps in your iPhone/iPad.

Option 1:Remove Built-in Apple Apps from Home screen

If you have iOS 10, you can remove built-in apps, such as Stocks, Tips, and iTunes Store from your Home screen.

Step 1: Navigate to the Home screen that contains the icon for the application you wish to remove.

Step 2: Touch and hold the app lightly until it jiggles.

Step 3: Tap Remove on the app, then tap Remove

Step 4: After you finish deleting, simply press the Home button to save your changes.

Option 2: How to Delete Applications in Settings

If you want free up storage space on your device, you can uninstall unwanted apps in Settings.

Step 1: Go to Setting > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage.

Step 2: It will appear the list of apps which installed on your iPhone/ iPad, select app you wish to delete.

Step 3: Tap Delete App, then all its documents and data will remove from the iPhone/iPad.


If you want to restore the previously removed app, go to App Store and search for the app. Tap Download to restore the app.
