Unlock Password Protected/Read-Only PowerPoint Presentation

Microsoft provides several options to allow users to lock PowerPoint presentation, among which the “Mark as Final” can make a PPT file read-only and the “Encrypt with Password” can protect a PowerPoint presentation with password so that anyone requires a password to open the presentation.

Step 1: Run iSumsoft PowerPoint Password Refixer on your computer.

Part 2: How to Unlock Read-Only PowerPoint presentation

If you can open a PowerPoint presentation but cannot edit or copy it, it indicates the document is read-only. Fortunately, it’s pretty easy to unlock a read-only PowerPoint presentation.

Step 1: Open your PPT document.

Step 2: Click on File->Info->Protect Presentation->Mark as Final.

In addition: When a PowerPoint presentation is marked as read-only, you can see a yellow warning message underneath the presentation’s menu bar. Click on the Edit Anyway button so that you also can unlock the read-only PowerPoint presentation immediately.
