Special Way to Install and Use Evernote in Internet Explorer

Part 1: Install Evernote Web Clipper for Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer doesn't support add-ons like Evernote Web Clipper, but you can install the Windows version of Evernote in your desktop, when installation is complete, Evernote detects Internet Explorer, then Web Clipper is automatically enable to use in IE.

1. Download and install evernote for windows. For the first time to use, it requires to Register.

2. Enbale to show Web Clipper when installation is complete, Evernote will detect Internet Explorer, then Web Clipper is automatically added to IE. Launch the IE, comform to enable add Evernote.

Tip: If you doesn't see the elephant icon in your IE toolbar Evernote go to Internet Explorer's settings:

Step 1: Run Internet Explorer, go to click gear button > Manage add-ons > Toolbars and Extensions > enble Add to Evernote 5. If it isn't appear in the toolbar, restart your browser then try step 2.

Step 2: Right-click on the tools menu and check Command Bar and Lock Toolbar, uncheck the rests. you should see the Evernote elephant button for the Evernote Web Clipper.

Part 2: Web Clipping in Internet Explorer

The way to clip is very similar to do web clipping in Chrome:

Step 1: Locate to the web you want to clip,highlight the content then right-click to select the clip types before clicking the Web Clipper icon. T

Or you can use Shortcut key to start clip and collection, here is the Global hot key.

Step 2: It'll bring up with Web clipper, you can select clip Article, Full page, Bookmark, Screenshot, then markup the clipper.

Step 3: After markup with Annotation tool, click Save bottun, it'll be stored in Evernote Account.
